The journey to Sarajevo
The road distance is about 290 kilometres. Driving time is roughly four to four and a half hours, not counting time at the border, which cannot be predicted.
Several practical routes lead towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, and none of them is always the best one. The driver chooses the route and the crossing according to the conditions on the day — traffic, the situation at the crossings and the weather. The final stretch runs through mountain terrain, where driving is slower than on a motorway, and that is factored into the estimate in advance.
Driving time is approximate. Time spent at the border depends on the day, the season and the border authorities on both sides, and is not included in the estimate above.

From Nikola Tesla Airport the price is €310. If you are arriving by air, send us the flight number when booking: we follow the actual landing time and adjust the pickup. This is a frequent combination for travellers who fly into Belgrade and continue to Sarajevo the same day.

The border and travel documents
Time at the border depends on traffic, the season, the time of day and the authorities on both sides of the crossing. We do not promise a wait-free crossing or a specific crossing time — that is not something a carrier can guarantee.
If you have a commitment tied to a specific hour — a flight, a meeting, a medical appointment — plan the departure with time to spare. Tell us when you need to arrive and we will gladly suggest a departure time.
Passengers are responsible for checking, before departure, that they hold valid travel, visa and other documents required to enter or transit the relevant countries. Requirements depend on citizenship.
Return
The return journey
Sarajevo → Belgrade is available as the return leg of the same booking. Select "Return trip: Yes" in the booking form; the return leg is 20% cheaper than the outbound one. If the driver waits at the destination, waiting is charged at €7 per hour.
A standalone Sarajevo → Belgrade journey, without an outbound trip with us, is not offered through the form — our vehicles and drivers are based in Belgrade.
