The route
About 560 kilometres and roughly six and a half to seven hours of driving, before time at the border is added. The route runs on the motorway for nearly its whole length, through Hungary.
We normally leave Serbia in the Horgoš / Röszke direction and continue on the Hungarian motorway towards the Austrian border. Routes and conditions can vary, and the driver takes a more practical direction if the day calls for it.
Over this distance a break is part of the plan rather than a luxury. The driver schedules a short stop, and if you are travelling with children or older passengers, tell us and we will adjust it.
The time given is an estimate of driving. Time at the border and at toll points is not included.
Why ROUTE381
Over a distance like this, the difference between your own car and a transfer is not only comfort — it is the difference between a day spent behind the wheel and a day in which you can work, sleep or simply watch the road go by.
One vehicle from your address in Belgrade to your address in Vienna.
A short stop is planned in advance and adapted to the passengers.
€530 from Belgrade and from the airport, with no metered charging.
Departure
The price is €530 both from an address in Belgrade and from Nikola Tesla Airport. The airport lies along the northbound direction, so there is no difference in price.
On a journey this long, the departure time is chosen around when you need to arrive. If you have a flight from Vienna or a meeting at a set hour, tell us — we will suggest a departure with a sensible reserve rather than assuming the best possible run.
Border
This journey passes through Hungary and therefore enters the Schengen area. Checks on leaving Serbia can take time, especially at weekends and in the summer season. We do not promise a specific crossing time and we do not plan the trip as though the border were not there.
Because of the distance, for anything tied to a specific hour — a flight, a train, a meeting — we recommend departing the day before or leaving a generous reserve.
Passengers are responsible for checking, before departure, that they hold valid travel, visa and other documents required to enter or transit the relevant countries. Requirements depend on citizenship.
Return
Vienna → Belgrade is selected in the form as the return leg of the same booking. The return leg is 20% cheaper than the outbound one.
Over this distance a same-day return rarely makes sense — the driver would spend thirteen hours on the road. A return on another day is the usual arrangement; tell us when booking so we can plan the driver.
